And boost economic growth
Entering into a contract agreement with SAGIBASE will make it
possible for SAGIBASE as Local SMME Company to make a remarkable
difference in socio economic as well as enterprise development in the
areas in which our clients operate.
By utilising SAGIBASE’s fabrication and supplying of belts, tips and
mining related products, we can improve local knowledge and skills,
being backed by experienced local companies that have been
involved in belt and tip manufacturing, refurbishment and mining
product supply for many years, we have excellent knowledge and
experience within the company to develop a training project for the
surrounding communities.
Contributing to SOCIO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
as well as ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS with our various
development partners, in the area that the work originates from.
Sagibase donated R80 000 worth of SA curriculum school books to the
local community Primary schools in 2014.
Sagibase employs a local community pastor that does upliftment
and inspirational programs in the community schools and amongst
community members.
The ownership in SAGIBASE will be shared as follows.
•59% - Other members (1 white female)
• 41% - Local content (Kalkfontein business leaders - 41% currently in place)
We have found that by giving BEE shares only to one designated
individual will only benefit that individual. That is why the idea of
benefiting the local community makes more sense.
When a contract agreement between the client and SAGIBASE is
signed, 15 % of the profit will be utilised within the local area where
the client is operating from. SAGIBASE will then with the assistance and
guidance of the local leaders identify a company to manage those
funds transparently in the specific area.
